Academic Business Incubators (AIP) in cooperation with the Cooperation Fund Foundation have opened a new Incubator.
"Cooperation with the AIP is the Cooperation Fund's return to active support for entrepreneurship, and participation in the most effective startup ecosystem in Poland also provides an opportunity to share our own experience and knowledge, particularly in the field of social innovation and international development programs," said Jacek Ostrowski, Member of the Management Board of the Cooperation Fund Foundation.
One of the main goals of the newly opened incubator will be to support social innovation. The Cooperation Fund Foundation will assist in this endeavor. The main goal of the collaboration is to bring together the startup community with a mature organization experienced in structural programs. This opens up new opportunities for applying for projects co-financed by the European Union and for creating social innovations.
The office is located at the Cooperation Fund Foundation headquarters – on the first floor of the building at 4a Górnośląska Street. It's an excellent transportation hub, close to Wisłostrada and Trasa Łazienkowska, making daily access to the office very convenient.
The newly opened incubator has a surface area of 320 square meters, including several dozen conference rooms that can accommodate 30 people. Entrepreneurs can use private offices, meeting rooms, and 12 coworking spaces. Up to 60 companies can develop their business ideas there.
"For 11 years, the mission of AIP Incubators has been to support budding entrepreneurs in their pursuit of business success. Our efforts have resulted in building a record-breaking community of 2,121 startups in Europe. You can submit your business idea to one of 51 branches in 24 cities. AIP Incubators offer the opportunity, with little risk, to test how your idea will perform in the market," commented Jacek Aleksandrowicz, founder of AIP.
" The AIP Incubator provides companies with its legal personality, so aspiring entrepreneurs don't have to register their business. The Incubator also handles legal and accounting matters and provides offices for young entrepreneurs. Thanks to these facilities and reduced operating costs, nothing stands in the way of fulfilling their dreams and developing their own business," commented Michał Misztal, Director of AIP Mazowsze.
In November, 30 startups that advance to the next stage of the Hi Tech Startup competition, organized by Academic Business Incubators and the Kronenberg Foundation at Citi Handlowy, will receive an invitation to the new office. The initiative aims to identify the best technological ideas and then transform them into successful businesses. One stage of this process will include support in the form of training and workshops that young entrepreneurs will receive at the AIP Incubator in Warsaw.
Since the beginning of 2015 alone, 360 startups have launched operations at AIP Incubators in Warsaw. Companies will be able to use the new office starting October 26th.
