This was a European Commission initiative enabling EU citizens to better document and present their professional competences and qualifications across Europe. The initiative also covered non-EU member states of the European Economic Area, as well as candidate countries for EU membership.
The Office for Coordination of Personnel Training of the Cooperation Fund Foundation served as the National Europass Centre.
