VARE – Competency requirements for persons assessing the progress of vocational school students

  Completed

The project runs from September 2015 to August 2017 under the Erasmus+ programme, based on a Partnership Agreement signed with the project leader, ECCTIS LIMITED, UK. The partnership also includes representatives from Austria and Slovenia.

The project is aimed at individuals/institutions responsible for assessing vocational school students, as well as those organizing the mobility of vocational school students. Reviewing the competency requirements for assessors in partner countries will contribute to increased transparency of achievements earned abroad and improved functioning of national recognition systems.

Project goals:

Identifying existing requirements for individuals/institutions conducting assessment in vocational education at EQF levels 3 and 4 will improve the flow of information on the required competencies of those responsible for assessment across member states. An online Catalogue of Assessment Requirements and Good Practices, developed by the partnership, will serve this purpose.
