Collaboration Paths – Catalog of social solutions

Publication date: 2022

A publication summarizing the implementation of the “Paths of Cooperation – Support for Entities Implementing Transnational Cooperation” project.

The idea behind the project was to encourage entities with experience in implementing European Social Fund projects to establish collaborations with European partners and collaborate with them to develop new social solutions. As part of the “Paths” initiative, we leveraged our extensive experience in establishing partnerships and, above all, co-financed over 200 international projects with grants, resulting in the creation of innovative products. These solutions cover a variety of thematic areas, are implemented by various entities – from small NGOs to universities – and, above all, take a variety of forms: models, educational programs, textbooks, digital platforms. However, they all share the common characteristic of responding to the most current needs identified by the grantees themselves, and of leveraging the knowledge and experience of entities from across Europe.

Each of the over 200 completed grants is a major success. When we began the project at the end of 2018, we didn’t anticipate that the majority of projects would be implemented during the pandemic, which made international exchange of experiences virtually impossible. Not only the primary avenues for this exchange, namely study visits, but also the partnerships themselves were sometimes called into question, as foreign entities withdrew due to various pandemic-related challenges. Congratulations are therefore due to all grantees who achieved their goals by following these “paths of cooperation,” and thanks to the project team and the Center for European Projects, who were persistent and always ready to guide you along these paths.

We hope that the solutions and reflections of the project participants will prove useful to you in your daily work and inspire you to undertake initiatives with an international reach.
