Based on the agreement signed on 29 February 2016 between the Supreme Audit Office and the Cooperation Fund Foundation , the International Cooperation Office provides administrative and financial support for the twinning agreement "Strenghtening of external auditing capacities" implemented by the Supreme Audit Office for the Audit Office in Albania.
The Polish-Croatian project encompasses assistance in virtually all areas of the Albanian SAO's activities: financial control, task execution, IT support, and corruption prevention. The Cooperation Fund Foundation will be responsible for project financial management, budget execution analysis, and project settlement with the Albanian Finance and Contracts Unit. Additionally, the Foundation will handle the administrative and financial aspects of the project, including organizing expert visits and bookkeeping.
