The training is practical in nature. It is conducted in an interactive, workshop-style format, and the presented content is supported by numerous practical examples. The trainers have extensive experience and knowledge gained from working with businesses and business support institutions. The training partners are the Cooperation Fund Foundation, the Lewiatan Confederation, the Institute of Public Affairs, and the Good Practice Factory, and the commissioned event is the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy.

Participation in the training is free of charge, as it is implemented as part of the “Equality in Business” project, co-financed by the EU under the Operational Programme Knowledge, Education, and Development. The training lasts two days, during which you will receive concrete solutions for equal treatment and the prevention of violations in this area. After completing the training, you will have access to e-learning, which will contain extensive material on the training topics (including downloadable materials). It is crucial that 2-4 people from your company participate in the training. A larger representation allows you to design your own organizational solutions tailored to your company’s needs and that they can actually be implemented.

BENEFITS of participating in the training:

1. Minimize the risk of legal cases related to discrimination and mobbing in the workplace.
In Poland, the number of cases reported by employees concerning discrimination and mobbing is growing rapidly. Furthermore, many companies are unaware of the obligations imposed by the Labor Code in this regard. The training will outline employers’ obligations to create an equal-opportunity workplace. The regulations will be discussed in user-friendly language and supported by numerous examples of court cases. Simple and cost-free solutions will be presented that will enable your company to reduce the risk of potential complaints or lawsuits.

2. Develop your own solutions tailored to the needs of meeting the obligations imposed by the Labor Code. During the training, companies will have the opportunity to identify their best practices for equal opportunities in the workplace. They will also be able to identify areas of the company’s operations that require changes in this area. Based on this knowledge, companies will be able to design their own equal opportunities solutions in the workplace, with the support of trainers, that will be tailored to their needs, the specifics of their industry, and address a specific problem.

3. Building the image of an employee-friendly company.
Job seekers are increasingly paying attention to whether a prospective employer is employee-friendly and what employment conditions they offer. The training will present good business practices and free solutions for companies to use.

4. Promoting companies that implement solutions for equal opportunities for women and men.
Companies participating in the training will receive a certificate confirming their commitment to corporate social responsibility. These companies will also be invited to participate in a best practices competition, open exclusively to medium-sized enterprises. Participation is free. Companies recognized in the competition will have the opportunity to benefit from specialized consulting in their chosen field and will be promoted in mass media (social media, press, radio). They will also be included in a catalog of best practices as a best practice.
