The Consortium of the Cooperation Fund Foundation and the Regional Development Agency in Starachowice are resuming the “Loans for Education” project. This is an opportunity to invest in development and finance the costs of obtaining new qualifications. The project budget, available to the financing partners, is PLN 25,200,000.00 and is being implemented in cooperation with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. The first round of loan applications under this project will begin on August 5th at 9:00 AM. Who is it for?
The “Education Loans” project aims to provide financial support to adults living in Poland by offering interest-free loans with the possibility of partial forgiveness. The program is intended for individuals planning to begin their studies or already participating in training, courses, postgraduate studies, and other forms of education that are not fully paid. Exceptions include first-, second-, and third-cycle studies, as well as long-cycle master’s programs.
“Over the past seven years, as part of the pilot project, we have granted 5,727 loans to individuals who, despite their desire to improve their qualifications, were previously hindered by financial constraints. From the very beginning, we have strived to ensure that our instrument is as tailored to their needs and as simple as possible. At the Cooperation Fund Foundation, we consider a flexible approach to our clients to be our hallmark,” emphasizes Daniel Prędkopowicz from the Cooperation Fund Foundation.
What can you gain?
The maximum loan amount is up to PLN 50,000. This amount can be used to finance one or more training courses in any area of knowledge or skills. The loan is interest-free and has a repayment period of up to 3 years. The beneficiary can receive a grace period of up to 6 months from the date the loan is disbursed. Participation in the program does not involve any additional costs, such as fees or upfront fees.
What is it for?
The loan amount can be used to finance one or more training courses in any area of knowledge or skills, such as postgraduate studies, MBA studies, vocational courses and training, language courses, or IT training. Up to PLN 15,000 of this amount can be used to cover the costs of reasonable accommodations. This means that the costs of specific adaptation measures can be covered when a person with a disability joins the project. These measures are intended to facilitate access to education and are financed through the loan as needed.
How to apply?
The application process for interest-free education loans will open on August 5th at 12:00 PM. 9:00 AM. Applications can be submitted via the online system available at: www.pozyczkinaksztalcenie.pl
