Some people predict the future, others want to design it. They want to expand their horizons and proactively seek new solutions. They want to identify opportunities and then transform them into results. This is Future Thinking – an innovative method used to design innovations.
If you want to learn how to work with the future – that is, how to boldly look ahead and develop a vision for development – we invite you to the “Glasses of the Future – Silesia 2030” seminar, which will allow you to see Silesia in 2030. What will we need right from the start? First, we should learn to detect, analyze, and respond to signals of change occurring around us. This is the starting point that guides our actions. What signals are we hearing in Silesia?
White jobs in Silesia are threatened by the aging process and low generational replacement in this professional group. So-called care professions are already in short supply.
Experiences related to the pandemic have already led to 10% of doctors and 15% of nurses announcing their retirement from the profession.
Green jobs in Silesia—related to environmental protection—are desperately needed, but their creation is hampered by a lack of professional qualifications among employees and, more importantly, by a low interest in acquiring such skills.
The two-day event, held online on November 24-25, is expert-focused.
We especially invite representatives of institutions, local governments, companies, and non-governmental organizations from Silesia involved in the white and/or green jobs sector, regional development, and social policy.
We also invite everyone interested in expanding their knowledge of the use of design methods in strategic planning.
