Inauguration of the Social Innovation Academy – start of Module 1.

Dodano:

The first of seven modules of the free online course “Social Innovation Academy” launches on Teachable on September 10th. The course will begin with the topic “Active Citizenship – How you can promote positive change in your community and/or society.” Over 1,000 people from more than a dozen countries have already registered for the online course. You can still join – you can register throughout the Academy (until December 16th), as you can complete any number of Modules.

Here’s the link to register for the online course: https://social-innovation-academy.teachable.com/.

Each Module also has a free in-person (national) option. The in-person workshops, conducted in local languages, are designed to, among other things, deepen the module topics, particularly by taking into account local and national circumstances. However, completing an online module is not required to participate in the workshop.

In Poland, the in-person training sessions will take place in Poznań. The other Polish partner of the Social(i)Makers project, the Regional Social Policy Center in Poznań, is responsible for organizing them.

The first workshop (corresponding to the first module of the course) – “Civic Engagement – How to Support Positive Change in Your Community and/or Society” – will take place on September 18th at the Ogrodowa 12 Conference Center in Poznań. Registration for the training is available online at: https://830572-2.evenea.pl/ or by phone at 61 856 73 20.

Registration for the next three modules is also currently open – information and relevant links are available on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/socialimakers.polska/.

As a reminder, the next modules are:

1. Civic Engagement – How to Support Positive Change in Your Community and/or Society.

2. Social Business – Entrepreneurship with a Positive Social Impact.

3. The Process of Designing Social Innovations.

4. Stakeholders of Social Innovation – Methods of Engagement and Effective Communication.

5. Assessing the Impact of Social Innovations – How to Measure and Manage It.
