What is the “Social Premium” for Residents?

Thanks to grants, local authorities can finance services such as senior care, support for people with disabilities, assistance to children and youth, and specialized counseling. Importantly, local NGOs and social enterprises provide these services, which means supporting local initiatives and jobs.

New, Improved Rules

● Higher support – up to PLN 500,000 PLN (previously PLN 350,000), ● A larger grant share – up to 90% of costs,
● More opportunities – local governments can submit applications multiple times until funds are exhausted,
● Preferences for municipalities and counties in need – points for low municipal/county budget expenditures, unemployment rates, or the number of people receiving social assistance.

Local governments will particularly benefit from:

● collaborating with Social Service Centers (+15 points),
● outsourcing tasks to social enterprises (+20 points),
● serving communities with the greatest needs (+up to 40 points).
