Work is underway to create a social impact bond model, which we will pilot at selected vocational schools. Although the first test is still months away in 2018, many important issues still need to be resolved.
We are devoting significant attention to securing investors to finance the bond implementation. We are analyzing various issues related to vocational education and seeking solutions that will better align graduate competencies with employer needs. These discussions are conducted within the established Interdisciplinary Team and during expert group meetings. The Interdisciplinary Team includes representatives of FFW (Dorota Nowicka, Katarzyna Jagiełło, Aleksandra Strejmer, Agnieszka Luck, Michał Bargielski, Jacek Ostrowski) and the project partner – Black Pearls VC SA (Alexander Lubański), while the work of the expert groups was joined by representatives of vocational schools (directors and teachers) and local government units, employers, experts in the labor market, career counseling and the vocational education system.
