Jan Mela is a guest at the 7th Social Economy Day in Radom

Dodano:

We are pleased to announce that Jasiek Mela – a traveler, social activist, motivational speaker and father of three – will be the Special Guest of the 7th Social Economy Day in Radom, which will take place on September 24, 2025. At the age of just 13, Jan suffered a tragic accident, losing an arm and a leg. This didn’t stop him from pursuing his great dreams – just two years later, together with polar explorer Marek Kamiński, he reached both the North and South Poles of the Earth. He achieved this as the youngest person in history.

But he didn’t stop there. In the following years, he continued his journey:

he completed the Herbalife IRONMAN 70.3 triathlon in Gdynia,

he participated in expeditions to Kilimanjaro and Elbrus,

climbed the legendary El Capitan,

ran the New York City Marathon,

he uses a prosthetic leg and for 11 years ran the Poza Horyzonty Foundation, which supported amputees.

On September 24, 2025, Jasiek Mela will be in Radom to prove that nothing is impossible – and that despite adversity, you can live life to the fullest, pursue your passions, and fulfill your dreams.

More information about the seventh edition of Social Economy Day will be available soon!

Participation is free, but space is limited – so don’t delay and register today!
