The Polish-Ukrainian Startup Bridge is a unique project in CEE, implemented by the Cooperation Fund Foundation ( www.cofund.org.pl) and the Simpact VC Fund (www.simpact.vc). Its goal is to connect Ukrainian startups and research and development projects with the Polish innovation support ecosystem (VC funds, government agencies, large companies, and private investors). As part of this initiative, we organize a series of events (meetups) in eight Ukrainian cities, culminating in a central event called the Kyiv Tech Hub. We also support Ukrainian startups with knowledge and experience through the Ukrainian Startup Support Center and organize a Tech Tour for scientists in Poland.

We are looking for someone to join our dynamic Polish-Ukrainian team in Warsaw who will complement its competencies and efficiently begin working with it.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• support for the organization of meetups in Poland and Ukraine
• communicating with startups and institutional and business partners of the project
• communication and promotion of the project on social media
• preliminary analysis of projects applying for the Polish-Ukrainian Startup Bridge project
• close cooperation with the team and project manager
• participation in industry meetings/events

• in the case of establishing cooperation with the Simpact VC Fund, the scope of tasks will be extended to include:
preliminary analysis of investment projects
for preparing investment recommendations
for support of the investment process

What we expect:
• final-year student or university graduate (preferably economics or related fields)
• knowledge of English
• knowledge of Ukrainian/Russian is welcome
• reliability and independence in fulfilling assigned duties,
• openness to establishing relationships and a people-friendly attitude 🙂
• very good organization of own work and commitment to the work performed
• presentation skills
• coping with multitasking and treating business dynamics as a challenge, not a problem
