Marketing & Community Specialist

The Polish-Ukrainian Startup Bridge is a unique project in Poland, implemented by the Cooperation Fund Foundation and the Simpact VC Fund . Its goal is to connect Ukrainian startups and research projects with the Polish innovation and entrepreneurship support ecosystem (VC funds, government agencies, and large companies). As part of this initiative, we organize a series of events (meetups) in eight Ukrainian cities, culminating in the Kyiv Tech Hub in Kyiv. We also support Ukrainian startups with our knowledge and experience by running a Startup Support Center and organizing Tech Tours in Poland for the best startups and projects.

We are looking for someone to join our dynamic Polish-Ukrainian team in Warsaw who will complement its competencies and efficiently begin working with it.

Your daily duties:
• creating a community around the project through: online activities, participation in organized events in Poland and Ukraine, support of the Startup Support Center and contact channels,
• developing a social media strategy and running project profiles and events dedicated to meetups in English (Ukrainian – welcome) (FB / IS / LinkedIn),
• supplementing the content of our website in cooperation with a web developer (newsroom, expert zone, current information),
• promoting content through paid advertising (Google/FB/Linkedin),
• SEO monitoring and engaging new users,
• searching and contacting local media in Poland and Ukraine,
• work as a creative copywriter for Polish and Ukrainian media,
• participation in meetups in Ukraine and support for their implementation in all cities,
• photographing events (event experience in this area is welcome),
• cooperation with the media, printing houses, graphic designers and Project Manager,
• managing the overall branding of the project,
• ongoing support for the team's activities at selected events in Ukraine.

What we expect:
• experience in a position with a similar scope of responsibilities (promotion, marketing, PR and community building) or passion and interest in the topic,
• higher education – preferred fields: marketing, management and related,
• knowledge of social media trends and tools,
• knowledge of the principles of effective internet marketing.
• ability to analyze data from activities conducted on the Internet,
• ability to use Google Analytics and Google Ads – highly desirable,
• experience in SEO activities and paid campaigns – welcome,
• experience in building online communities and reach – welcome,
• very good writing, communication and speaking skills in English (min. B2/C1) (Ukrainian – welcome),
• at least good command of the Polish language in speech and writing,
• very good skills in using MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point),
• honesty and reliability in fulfilling entrusted duties,
• very good soft skills, openness in conversation and people-friendly person 🙂
• dynamism, very good organization of one's own work and commitment to the work performed,
• coping with multitasking and treating business dynamics as a challenge rather than a problem,
• ability to prioritize tasks and manage work on one's own initiative,
• independence in action and willingness to take on new challenges,
• readiness for mobility and business trips.
