Who are we looking for:

• Education
– completed law studies (Master of Laws)

• Requirements
– practical knowledge of housing law and family and guardianship law,
– experience in debt relief for individuals,
– experience in determining entitlement to benefits (e.g. health, disability, employment, social),
– ability to prepare procedural documents, draft contracts and legal opinions,
– experience in contacts with clients, courts and administrative bodies,
– good knowledge of English, spoken and written,
– empathy, readiness to work with socially excluded people (mentally ill, homeless) in the field.

An additional advantage will be the candidate’s experience in working for excluded people, as well as knowledge of the assumptions of the Housing First method, e.g. www.czynajpierwmieszkanie.pl and the Housing First Fidelity Scale.

What we offer:
• challenging work on the interesting and innovative project "Housing First", the aim of which is to counteract chronic homelessness among people with mental illnesses (www.czynajpierwmieszkanie.pl),
• Employment under a 3/4-time employment contract for a fixed term – approx. 2.5 years from February 2020,
• salary of PLN 4,500 gross/month,
• flexible and task-oriented working time,
• training in the field of work using the Housing First method,
• close cooperation in a well-coordinated team of specialists (a person employed as a lawyer will participate, among others, in daily meetings of therapists).
