Raport „Overview of long-term unemployment in Poland”

Dodano:

As part of the Social Impact Vouchers project, a report on long-term unemployment in Poland was prepared, identifying groups of unemployed people who are potential recipients of the voucher system – a mechanism supporting re-entry into the labor market. This publication is part of an international report presenting key issues related to long-term unemployment in eight partner countries (Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, and Croatia). The report, “Overview of Long-Term Unemployment in Poland,” is divided into two parts. The first presents, among other things, the demographic and socio-professional structure of the long-term unemployed, territorial diversity, and the economic sectors where long-term unemployment poses the greatest challenge.

This analysis served as the starting point for the second part of the report, which identifies potential target groups for the voucher system to be implemented in Poland as part of the SIV project. The system provides for the financing of the salary and three-month employment costs of long-term unemployed individuals. The fund supporting the voucher system will be financed, among other things, by private capital. We will keep you updated on further steps related to the fund’s implementation.

Social Impact Vouchers (SIV) is a project implemented under Priority 1: “Cooperating on innovation to make CENTRAL EUROPE more competitive” of the Interreg Central Europe program. The project involves 11 partners (organizations) from eight countries – Poland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, and Croatia. The project leader is the German organization Sozialunternehmen Neue Arbeit GmbH.
