Regional meeting of the ReferNet network

On May 14-15, a regional meeting of the ReferNet network was held in Limassol, Cyprus. The meeting was largely devoted to changes at Cedefop, which, within the European Commission, moved from the Department of Education and Culture (DG Education and Culture) to the Department of Employment (DG Employment), as well as the resulting changes to the ReferNet work plan for 2015. In this context, the Network members discussed the questionnaire on mobility in vocational education and training, prepared in May, as well as the article on teachers and trainers, which will be the Network’s next task. It was also decided that the update of the National Report on Vocational Education and Training would be postponed until next year, meaning that the 2014 report was the last prepared under the current framework agreement. A call for proposals for the next framework agreement for Network members will be announced mid-year, although the details of the call are not yet known. The Cooperation Fund Foundation will apply for continued membership in the Network.
