Silesian Innovation Space – selected challenges!

Dodano:

In the Silesian Innovation Space project, we have completed the process of collecting and selecting challenges addressing specific issues affecting the residents of Silesia. From the 70 proposals submitted to the organizers, the Project Partners Council selected 34 challenges, which will serve as a starting point for further work on developing innovative solutions.

The challenges cover a variety of areas aligned with the project’s objectives. The largest number, just over a third of the selected submissions, concerns so-called “white jobs” related to healthcare and care professions. Next in line are areas related to urban revitalization from a social perspective and those related to “green jobs.” The list of challenges also includes those related to depopulation in the region, the social impact of energy poverty, and the employment of disadvantaged groups, including people aged 50+.

The essence of the Silesian Innovation Space project is to identify the challenges faced by the residents of Silesia and to engage them in active efforts to design, implement, and test innovative solutions. The next step in the project will be selecting the best proposals for solutions that address the previously reported challenges.

The call for proposals for the most interesting ideas will begin in early February and continue until mid-March. Grants of up to PLN 45,000 are available for the best ideas. Detailed information and the application schedule will be published soon at https://slaska.miejscennowacji.pl.

The project is implemented by the Cooperation Fund Foundation in partnership with the CRIS Center for the Development of Social Initiatives.
