On Thursday, July 6, the first meeting of the Steering Committee of the FIO-Mazowsze Lokalnie program took place this year. Together with program partners, FIO-Mazowsze Lokalnie Ambassadors, experts assessing applications, and city representatives, we discussed the evolution of the regranting model, the regranting mechanism, the ambassador role, and so-called “blank spots”—places where social activity is still low. The summary of the program’s four-year implementation is impressive: between 2014 and 2017, we awarded over 600 grants, worth nearly PLN 3 million, for activities aimed at increasing the involvement of Mazovia’s residents in public life. The role of the FIO-Mazowsze Lokalnie Steering Committee is to co-manage the program by providing feedback and guidance to operators regarding implemented activities. Representatives of FIO Mazowsze Lokalnie Ambassadors, application assessors, representatives of local governments, the Mazowiecka Regional Development Fund (RDPP), and the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy (MRPiPS) are invited to participate in the committee’s work.
