The “Success in Your Own Business” project was completed in June 2018, but it was not until January of this year that the Voivodeship Employment Office in Łódź (Intermediary Unit) confirmed the full and correct settlement of the project. The project involved training 80 participants in starting and running a business, awarding 65 grants for starting their own business, and providing monthly financial support for 12 months.
The project enrolled 83 people, 42 of whom were long-term unemployed and took advantage of the support offered. The project exceeded the target number of grants awarded to 67. Various businesses were established in Łódź and throughout the Łódź Voivodeship, including tailoring services, physiotherapy, landscaping, a children’s soccer school, beauty salons, educational activities, car repair shops, carpentry services, the production of dietary bars, and a massage parlor.
The project team visited all the entrepreneurs as part of its monitoring visits, allowing them to see the newly established businesses and verify the correctness of the grant funds being spent. The plan was implemented!
