On December 18, 2014, we signed an amendment to the agreement with the Implementing Authority for European Programmes (IEAP) as the Intermediate Body for Measures 8.3 and 8.4 of the Innovative Economy Programme regarding the verification of financial documentation for payment applications. This amendment extends the implementation of the tasks entrusted to the Foundation until the end of 2015. The Implementing Authority for European Programmes is one of the institutions (along with the National Centre for Research and Development, the Information Processing Centre, and the Ministry of Economy) that entrusts Foundation staff with verification visits to beneficiaries’ offices, as well as supporting beneficiaries in project settlement in accordance with the Program documentation and the requirements of the WWPE.
The extension of the agreement with the WWPE confirms the Foundation’s role in the management and control of POIG funds. We are confident that our contribution raises the standard of services provided to Program beneficiaries.
By the end of 2014, Foundation staff had verified 4,852 applications for the WWPE, totaling PLN 1,131 million.
