The FIO – Mazowsze Lokalnie (Local Mazovia) team’s tour of Mazovia concluded on May 11th. As part of the local competition committees, we met with activists and community activists from across the province, who presented their ideas for activating local communities. A total of seven committees were held in six cities: Warsaw, Ostrołęka, Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Płock, and Siedlce, as well as two meetings in Radom.
205 projects from two tracks (grassroots initiative and self-help group support) qualified for the second stage of the evaluation, which involved presenting a short presentation on planned activities.
Projects submitted in this year’s competition cover many areas of community life. These included activities such as building gazebos and playgrounds, organizing quests, creating bicycle trails, and conducting robotics workshops.
We would like to thank everyone involved in the committee’s work – especially the experts who evaluated the local action ideas.
The final competition results will be announced on May 15th, and approximately 50% of the projects presented during the competition will receive funding.
