The Cooperation Fund Foundation, in cooperation with the Polish Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations and with the support of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, invites representatives of non-governmental organizations from the Masovian Voivodeship to a meeting. “The Importance of NGO Voices in the Process of Working on the EU Financial Perspective 2021-2027”

We encourage representatives of individual NGOs and federations involved in the work of monitoring committees in the current perspective and other advisory and consultative bodies (including public benefit councils) and/or specializing in environmental protection issues to attend.
“We are at a point where we need to collectively participate in the discussion about what the operational programs will look like,” says Daniel Prędkopowicz from the Cooperation Fund Foundation. “Whether the strategies and other documents include provisions enabling NGOs to achieve specific goals depends on our commitment, determination, consistency, and substantive work,” he adds.
The meeting will be held online using the Google Meet platform – a link will be sent to registered participants on the day of the meeting. The meeting agenda includes:
– Welcome and presentation of the meeting context – Regional working groups on the new EU financial perspective
– New EU financial perspective – Introduction
– NGO participation in the work of the Monitoring Committee of the Regional Operational Programme for the Mazowieckie Voivodeship 2014-2020 – expert introduction and discussion on the partnership principle
– Work on the Development Strategy for the Mazowieckie Voivodeship and the Regional Operational Programme for the Mazowieckie Voivodeship for 2021-2027 – expert introduction and discussion on the transparency of procedures for preparing strategic documents
– Why do we need European funds? The importance of NGOs in the voivodeship’s development policy – expert introduction and discussion on the development and aspirations of the non-governmental sector
– Summary of the meeting and a plan for further actions to prepare NGOs for the new perspective – Engagement of dialogue bodies (lobbying, advocacy).
