Our “Success in Your Own Business” project is nearing its end. The first group of participants (16 people) completed their participation in the project in mid-January. All participants had been operating for at least 12 months, had correctly accounted for the funds allocated from grants and bridge support, and had also benefited from individual counseling to support their business. The next group of participants (17 people) will leave our project in early February. The final two groups will complete their participation in March and May of this year. We continue to conduct monitoring visits, which allow us, as project implementers, to better understand our participants and the nature of their diverse businesses. Our project includes an instructor who runs a children’s soccer school, and a participant who sews sensory clothing and toys for children with disabilities and social impairments. If necessary, we can contact accounting offices run by two of our participants or commission the restoration of old, antique furniture. If we want our child to develop in technical and innovative areas, we can send them to classes where they will learn programming, building, and operating mini robots and drones, all while playing with building blocks. The Polish climate is not a pleasant one, with many rainy and muddy days. One of our participants responded to this challenge and began producing “cleaners,” or shoe polishing brushes in various interesting shapes, such as a hedgehog, which are so pretty and interesting they could serve as home decorations. The project implementation plan includes monitoring visits to participants who will be participating in our project for several months. We will soon complete the verification of the latest grant settlements. Our entrepreneurs can continue to benefit from individual legal, accounting, and marketing advice, aimed at supporting and assisting them in running their businesses.
