The aging of Poland’s population, which is intensifying year by year, poses a significant challenge for the government, local governments, and non-governmental organizations. Statistics Poland (GUS) data best illustrates the scale of the phenomenon: today, seniors constitute approximately 25% of the total population, and by 2050, this percentage will increase to 40% (13.7 million inhabitants). This Thursday, we invite you to a debate during which our experts will discuss the following topics:
– Senior initiatives in Mazovia – examples and best practices of projects implemented by non-governmental organizations and local governments for seniors;
– Assumptions of the Mazovian Voivodeship’s senior policy;
– Activities for seniors undertaken by the Mazovian Social Welfare Center;
– An aging society from the perspective of local government;
– Assumptions and future plans for the development of activities for seniors.
