In September, work began in full swing on a project implemented by the Educational Projects Department under POWER, titled “Recommendations for Increasing the Scope and Relevance of Professional Activation of Young People in the Masovian Voivodeship.” These recommendations are to be developed by a partnership established specifically for this purpose (with the support of a group of experts) and distributed to the IRP by the end of 2016. The partnership established for the project, dubbed the “Partnership for Support of Young People,” was formed during a meeting held on September 15th at the Foundation’s headquarters. The Partnership comprises institutions related to the labor market, education, social welfare, and troubled youth, including the District Employment Office in Siedlce, the Education Board in Warsaw, the Masovian Social Policy Center, and the Friends of Children Society. As part of the work, a meeting of experts employed in the project was also held. They agreed on the scope of work on the report “The Situation of Young People in the Masovian Voivodeship – a Diagnosis from the Perspective of the Education System, the Labor Market, and the Established Forms and Areas of Support,” which they will present to the Partnership in early October. The final version of the recommendations is planned for the end of November, so that they can be edited and printed and distributed to the IRP during the holiday season. During both meetings, guests could enjoy meals prepared especially for the occasion by the Wola Social Cooperative in Warsaw.
