On Tuesday, September 15, the Cooperation Fund Foundation celebrated its 25th anniversary. The event was attended by current and former Foundation employees, strategic partners, and representatives of government and the third sector. The Foundation invited its guests to The View, a Warsaw club located on the rooftop (31st floor) of the Spektrum Tower skyscraper. From this perspective, we examined FFW’s achievements to date and boldly discussed the future.

During the event, the FFW Board honored individuals who have made a significant contribution to the Foundation’s development over its 25-year history with statuettes. Among those honored were Ewa Ośniecka-Tamecka, Vice-Rector of the College of Europe and FFW Council Member; Zuzanna Kierzkowska, Director of the Development Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Wojciech Paciorkiewicz, Deputy Director for Implementation and former Foundation Council Member; Paweł Samecki, Member of the Management Board of the National Bank of Poland and former FFW Council Member; and Leszek Grabarczyk, Deputy Director of the National Centre for Research and Development and former Council Member of the Cooperation Fund Foundation.

A special award was presented to the current President of the FFW Management Board, Tadeusz Kozek, who was presented with a statuette by representatives of the Foundation’s staff.

Guests gathered on the skyscraper’s roof danced to Cuban music performed by Rey Ceballo & Tripulacion Cubana, who heated up the atmosphere with dance hits. Among the evening’s highlights was a performance by the Foundation’s choir, Fund&Grace, who, holding red and white balloons, sang “Sto lat” (Happy Birthday). A 25-kilogram cake with the Foundation’s logo was also prepared to celebrate FFW’s 25th anniversary.

The surprise star of the evening was Grzegorz Markowski, who performed his greatest hits, accompanied by guests.
