The first of six six-month reporting periods spanning the Social(i)Makers project is behind us. It was a period full of challenges—both substantively and (perhaps even more importantly) formally and organizationally. We successfully verified and ultimately approved all required documents, procedures, guidelines, and strategies; actively participated in two international partner meetings – in Modena, Italy, and Maribor, Slovenia; participated in a study on the social innovation needs of Central European countries; developed proposed content for three syllabi for the “Social Innovation Design Academy” course; and delivered all required documents, files, information, feedback, presentations, etc., to the task leaders and project leader on time.
The final challenge was developing our contribution to the first interim report. We are awaiting its verification.
Meanwhile, we have smoothly transitioned into the second reporting period, where we face further challenges and tasks – primarily the final development of the content for three modules of the “Social Innovation Design Academy” course, followed by the implementation of the course in Poland – in the form of in-person workshops and an online course.
