The Cooperation Fund Foundation and the Jeden Muranów Foundation invite you to join us.
The “Seniors – Act and Change Your City” project, co-financed by the City of Warsaw, is just getting underway. Its main goal is to encourage residents over 65 to participate in participatory budgeting.
It will cover two Warsaw districts – Wola and Śródmieście. As part of the project, we will organize a promotional campaign aimed at seniors. We will also conduct workshops where seniors will learn step-by-step about the process of participating in participatory budgeting. We plan to invite a total of approximately 40 volunteers to participate in our activities.
Tasks:
• Assisting in conducting a needs assessment for seniors – distributing surveys, conducting questionnaires, and raising awareness of the project;
• Distributing posters and flyers in Wola and Śródmieście;
• Assisting in organizing project meetings (workshops, computer workshops, opening and closing meetings); • Assistance in writing participatory budgeting applications;
• Field activities: promoting the project at local events.
How much time?
Minimum 4 hours from October 1, 2017, to July 31, 2018, depending on the volunteer’s availability.
Additional requirements:
Digital and communication skills are highly recommended.

Participation in the project provides the opportunity to learn about participatory budgeting and receive training in project implementation. Furthermore, volunteers will be able to prepare and implement their own mini intergenerational project with project participants under the supervision of specialists.
