The Cooperation Fund Foundation and the Regional Development Agency in Starachowice invite you to participate in the September edition of the “Loans for Education” project. This is a unique opportunity to develop and acquire new qualifications with the support of interest-free loans. Applications open on September 9th at 9:00 AM. The “Loans for Education” project is aimed at adults living in Poland who wish to acquire new qualifications through participation in training, courses, or postgraduate studies. The project budget, implemented in cooperation with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, is PLN 25,200,000. The September round of applications will accept applications with a total value of up to PLN 10,000,000.
“Over the past seven years, as part of the pilot project, we have granted 5,727 loans to individuals who, despite their desire to improve their qualifications, were previously hindered by financial constraints. From the very beginning, we have strived to ensure that the instrument we implement is as tailored to their needs and as simple as possible. At the Cooperation Fund Foundation, we consider our flexible approach to clients to be our hallmark,” emphasizes Daniel Prędkopowicz from the Cooperation Fund Foundation.
Loans of up to PLN 50,000 can be used to finance training courses, postgraduate studies, and MBA programs. Additionally, up to PLN 15,000 of this amount can be used to cover costs under the reasonable accommodation mechanism, which allows for the financing of adaptation measures implemented by the provider of a given form of education when the borrower-participant of the project is a person with a disability.
The “Loans for Education” project, which is implemented on the basis of an agreement signed with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego under the European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027 program, is a continuation of the pilot project implemented by the Cooperation Fund Foundation and the Regional Development Agency in Starachowice in 2017-2023, under which we granted loans for a total amount of PLN 65,151,302.66. As part of the ongoing project, 336 loan applications were submitted in the first call for applications for a total amount of PLN 6,368,747.70.
