Combining business with a social mission? It’s not just a pipe dream, it’s truly possible! If the idea itself doesn’t convince you yet, come on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, for the 6th Social Economy Day at the Łukasiewicz Research Network headquarters at 6/10 Pułaskiego Street in Radom. You’ll not only meet social entrepreneurs and their unique stories, but also learn more about social services and their development prospects in Radom, and answer the most important question: where will the funding come from? What exactly have we prepared for you this time? Check it out! Why is it worth visiting us on September 25th? Come and:

You’ll meet successful social entrepreneurs from across Poland. Social Economy Day tradition is the participation of social entrepreneurs from across Poland, united by their successful market presence and years of building their brand. This year will be no different! Barbara Radkiewicz and Krystyna Włodarek (Ważka Social Cooperative), Ewelina Gzowska (Pożytek Social Cooperative), Marta Perkowska (Open Door Association, ZAZ Galeria Apteka Sztuki), and Michał Jaros (Active Senior Association) will share their recipes for success in the social economy. Each story is different, but each has the potential to inspire you and/or your organization. Don’t miss it!

You’ll learn where to get the funding! Let’s be honest: if you have an idea for a social business (or any other), sooner or later you’ll ask yourself: where will I get the money? If your idea is focused on the social economy and social services, you have a good chance of finding the answer to this crucial question during the 6th Social Economy Day. Robert Gajewski, head of the Social Economy Department at the Masovian Social Policy Center; Katarzyna Kieszek, head of the ESF Project Implementation Department at the Masovian Unit for Implementing EU Programs; Michał Bargielski, expert in the Social Premium project; and Agnieszka Sekulska, specialist and animator in the mOWES project, will discuss financial support instruments.

You will see how the social economy operates and develops in practice in Radom! New Perspectives, the Happiness Foundation, and the Razem Association for Disabled People – these are just a few of the organizations operating in the social economy sector in Radom. During the sixth edition of the Social Economy Day, representatives of the aforementioned organizations, Monika Dudek, Dagmara Janas, and Tatiana Kaplińska, will present the activities of Radom-based organizations in the social services sector and their future development prospects.

You will learn about social services, which, in the near future, may become an opportunity for the development of many non-governmental organizations – perhaps including yours!

The organizer of the 6th Social Economy Day in Radom is the Masovian Social Economy Support Center, run by the Cooperation Fund Foundation. Since 2012, the organization has consistently supported the development of the social economy in three subregions: Ciechanów, Ostrołęka, and Radom, holding the Accreditation of the Minister of Family and Social Policy.
