We are pleased to inform you that the January call for proposals closed after 1 minute and 53 seconds (the system automatically closed applications after the PLN 2.5 million allocated for this call for proposals was exceeded).
Previous calls (conducted in 2017 and 2018) were financed by EU funds (Operational Program Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020) entrusted to us by the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy for the “Loans for Education” project. The funds entrusted to us under the project have been fully contracted, meaning they have been allocated for loans.
In calls for proposals organized since the beginning of 2019, as the project operator (a partnership between the Regional Development Agency in Starachowice and the Cooperation Fund Foundation), we exclusively use funds from monthly repayments of previously granted loans. This means that allocations for subsequent monthly applications are limited (as a reminder, PLN 3 million was available for loans in the November application period, and PLN 2.2 million in the December application period).
The operator cannot increase the pool of funds available for loans.
According to the loan system’s design, these funds are available to every adult residing in Poland, and loan approval is based on, among other things, the order in which applications are received. The entire application process is automated (opening and closing of the application period), and it is not possible to submit an application before the deadline specified in the announcement or after applications that have exhausted the allocation for a given month have been registered in the system.
