We’ve got it! Once again, the Mazovian Social Economy Support Center, run by our mOWES Foundation, has been accredited by the Ministry of Family and Social Policy.
This accreditation confirms that our activities are of high quality and comply with the standards set for centers by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy.
It is also a commitment – to develop social entrepreneurship in “our” subregions: Radom, Ostrołęka, and Ciechanów with unwavering energy! High Standards of Social Economy Support Centers (OWES)
High quality services provided to social economy entities by competent and experienced staff, openness to the needs of local communities, and a range of tangible initiatives to develop social entrepreneurship – these are just a few of the dozens of demanding standards that applicants must meet to obtain the status of a Social Economy Support Center (OWES) through an administrative decision and accreditation from the Ministry of Family and Social Policy. A detailed list of standards that should govern OWESs can be found here.
Activities aimed at creating new jobs, developing social economy entities and social enterprises, and supporting local governments in outsourcing public tasks have been among the most important areas of our activities for years,” says Daniel Prędkopowicz, Director of the Project Management Office at the Cooperation Fund Foundation. “We are especially pleased that we have once again passed the accreditation process of the Ministry of Family and Social Policy and obtained the status of a social economy support center in accordance with the provisions of the Social Economy Act.” At this point, I would like to thank and congratulate the entire mOWES team and everyone with whom we have collaborated over the past few years.
What are these standards for?
First and foremost, they are aimed at building a professional, institutional framework that will make the social economy one of the most effective elements of active social policy in Poland. A framework that will know how to effectively develop current and create new support instruments aimed at developing social entrepreneurship.
We are pleased to be included in this group. The Masovian Social Economy Support Center, run by the Cooperation Fund Foundation, has consistently held OWES accreditation and status since 2012.
We invite you to cooperate!
