Today at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy we signed an agreement for the implementation of the “Innovations in Local Government” project. We will launch financial support for the implementation of modern solutions in social services at the local level. Local governments will gain PLN 21 million for innovation.
Thanks to the project, at least 75 local governments will receive grants of up to PLN 300,000 to implement proven micro-innovations in society. Additionally, local governments will benefit from consulting and training to better respond to local needs.
Thanks to financial and expert support, local government units will be able to implement proven innovations in areas such as education, services for seniors, and the integration of people with disabilities.
What’s next?
We will select innovations ready for implementation.
We will refine them in collaboration with experts.
We will launch three calls for grants for local governments.
We will provide training and advisory support.
Thanks to the “Innovations in Local Government” project, local governments will gain tools for real change and improving the quality of social services. The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry by Deputy Minister Monika Sikora.
The project will be financed under the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027 (FERS 2021-2027), Measure 5.1 “Social Innovation”.
