Local animation and a range of financial and non-financial support instruments for the development of social entrepreneurship – this is what mOWES has been known for for years. In 2023, the Cooperation Fund Foundation took a step forward and enhanced the mOWES offering with new features, including Open Days at Social Economy Entities and outdoor "Meetings with Social Economy." In collaboration with other OWES in Masovia, a nationwide online social campaign, "Es jak Sukces," was created, with the involvement of Wojtek Kaczmarczyk from the popular YouTube channel "Do Roboty." All of this is part of the "Discover Social Economy with MOWES" project, implemented by the Cooperation Fund Foundation as a public task financed from the Masovian Voivodeship budget.
Project goal:
The aim of the project is to promote the social economy in Mazovia (especially in the Ciechanów, Ostrołęka and Radom subregions), to encourage people working and looking for work to create new social enterprises and to show that an alternative career path is possible.
Who is the project addressed to:
- inhabitants of Mazovia (including the Ciechanów, Ostrołęka and Radom subregions);
- the social economy community (including, among others, representatives of PES employees/co-workers, people interested in establishing PES, initiative groups);
- representatives of local government units (including their organizational units, e.g. OPS, PCPR);
- labor market institutions, schools and universities and business representatives;
- natural persons operating in social economy entities, including in particular persons operating in the field of social economy.
Employees with intellectual disabilities? They're the driving force behind our entire business. I've never been disappointed and I can always count on them," assures Tatiana Kaplińska, founder of the Radom-based Happiness Foundation, in a video created on the YouTube channel as part of the "Es jak Sukces" campaign. The video has been viewed over 33,000 times on YouTube so far .
