“Silesian Innovation Space” is a competition aimed at finding and developing the best ideas for solving problems faced by Silesian residents. The project is nationwide and offers grants of up to PLN 45,000! Applications from innovators are accepted until January 24th. Innovation proposals can be submitted within the following seven thematic areas:
urban revitalization from a social perspective,
depopulation,
development of white jobs,
development of green jobs,
low employment rate for women,
low employment rate for people aged 50+,
reducing the social impact of energy poverty.
The challenges for innovators include:
Improving the qualifications of nutrition educators
Model housing solutions for young people
Supporting women in entering the labor market
A municipal landfill free of disposable tableware

The Silesian Innovation Space competition is implemented by the Cooperation Fund Foundation and the Centre for the Development of Social Initiatives. Its goal is to engage residents in solving the problems they face every day and instill in them the belief that innovations are often simple solutions within their reach.
