Social entrepreneurship with a new, strong development impulse!

Dodano:

The end of the year is just around the corner – isn’t this the perfect time to make some resolutions? Perhaps, but… not this time! Today, let’s focus on the facts and get straight to the point: funding for 129 new jobs, a comprehensive package of training and specialist support, organization and support for initiatives to develop the social economy, and a competent team of mOWES animators and advisors – these are just some of the activities that social economy entities in the Ciechanów and Ostrołęka subregions can count on in the coming months. These activities – and many others – will be possible thanks to the project entitled “Incubation and Support of the Social Economy in the Ciechanów and Ostrołęka Subregions – IWES 5,” co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus under the European Funds for Mazovia 2021-2027 program.

The Management Board of the Cooperation Fund Foundation signed the agreement for its implementation on Thursday, December 14, 2024, at the headquarters of the Masovian Unit for the Implementation of EU Projects.

For nearly 13 years, the Cooperation Fund Foundation has been consistently building the brand of the Masovian Social Economy Support Center. We understand the specifics and needs of the social economy in the Ciechanów and Ostrołęka subregions, we have a competent, experienced team, and we are ready to implement another project, which will undoubtedly be a strong driver of development for social entrepreneurship in the region,” said Daniel Prędkopowicz, President of the Cooperation Fund Foundation, summing up the signing of the agreement.

The first call for job funding is coming soon.

While the project involves numerous activities aimed at creating new social enterprises and developing existing ones, the greatest interest is in the opportunity to fund new jobs. “We are receiving signals from the social economy community in the Ciechanów and Ostrołęka subregions, expressing their readiness and willingness to develop their social businesses and create new jobs. That’s why we want to launch the first call for proposals without unnecessary delay, within the next few days,” assures Justyna Jakubiak, mOWES Project Manager.

The total value of the project is PLN 17,657,708.20. The activities planned for the project are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2027.
