10 years of Mazowsze Lokalnie. We’re celebrating a decade of community outreach!

Dodano:

The 10th anniversary of the Mazowsze Lokalnie program is not only a jubilee but also a unique opportunity to summarize the impact of our efforts on behalf of the residents of Mazovia. Thanks to our joint commitment, we have successfully implemented 1,419 micro-projects, contributing to the development of local communities. Key figures:

Mazowsze Lokalnie (Mazowsze Locally) over the decade included:

5,000 applications submitted,

PLN 6.5 million donated to project implementation,

over 1,800 events, 700 renovations, and numerous initiatives supporting mental health and migrant integration.

22,110 people were involved in the projects, and the results of their work reached over 250,000 residents of Mazovia. Activities covered 90% of the municipalities in the Mazovian Voivodeship.

Anniversary Conference

On December 13, 2024, the conference “10 Years of Mazowsze Lokalnie – Acting for Change” was held at the Mediateka in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. This event was not only a celebration but also an opportunity to reflect on the future of civil society.

Participant Statements:

Daniel Prędkopowicz, President of the Cooperation Fund Foundation:
“There is no doubt that thanks to Mazowsze Lokalnie, residents’ involvement in activities for their local communities has increased, and non-governmental organizations have become stronger leaders of change at the local level. Thanks to an extraordinary team and partners, we have built a program that has flexibly adapted year after year to changing needs and realities, creating space for local micro-projects.”

Adriana Porowska, Minister of Civil Society Development:
“Initiatives like these demonstrate the enormous potential that lies within every local community in Poland.”

Anna Brzezińska, Member of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Board:
“It is these small ideas that allow people to realize their dreams and transform their surroundings.”
