On July 23rd, the Foundation’s Board signed a cooperation agreement with Black Pearls Advisory, a consulting firm specializing in early-stage venture capital financing.
The foundations for this collaboration lie in shared goals: supporting the development of Poland and a competitive Polish economy. Both parties agreed that supporting the development of innovation and processes supporting the commercialization of R&D is essential to achieving these goals. By joining forces, the Cooperation Fund Foundation and Black Pearls VC will be able to more effectively support the development of Polish innovations.
The cooperation agreement provides for, among other things, joint activities in the development and support of social innovation, identifying and assessing the business and technological potential of innovative projects, and conducting joint investment ventures leveraging external financing sources. Both parties also committed to working together at the transnational level to strengthen the importance of the Polish economy and science abroad.
Combining the capital expertise of Black Pearls VC with the international advisory expertise of the Cooperation Fund Foundation will enable the implementation of investment projects by leveraging support instruments available under European Funds with the participation of seed/venture capital entities.
Black Pearls VC is currently the largest seed capital fund in northern Poland. The team specializes in capital management through investments in early-stage companies. It also provides advisory services, supporting companies at all stages of development, public administration, and the science sector with its knowledge and experience. It provides the potential for rapid international growth, private capital, and essential know-how. The effectiveness of Black Pearls VC is proven by its results – so far it has raised a total of PLN 170,000,000 of capital for its clients
