We are pleased to announce that, following an accessibility audit for people with disabilities conducted by TUS Foundation staff and volunteers, the Cooperation Fund Foundation’s headquarters has been added to the database at www.niepelnosprawnik.eu.

Niepełnosprawnik is a nationwide, free search engine for places accessible to people with various disabilities – including blindness and visual impairments, deafness and hearing impairments, mobility impairments, as well as seniors and caregivers with children in strollers. Currently, the search engine contains information on over 10,000 places. These include various types of facilities, including offices, museums and cultural institutions, hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, cinemas, service points, shops, and more. Information about the facilities is presented in the form of pictograms or text information. In addition to standard internet access, the search engine is also available on mobile phones.
Using public space and accessing information are fundamental human rights. The lack of information is a huge barrier and makes it difficult for people with disabilities to engage in their daily activities.
