A knack for entrepreneurship and a desire to change the world for the better – these are the qualities that best characterize social entrepreneurs. But what exactly is the social and solidarity economy? Do you know how many such people are active around you? Who are they, what do they do, and what are their motivations? On September 27th, visit us at Resursa in Radom for the 4th Social Economy Day, and we’ll help you find the answers to these and many other questions! You might just discover that social entrepreneurship is right for you! Social Economy from A to Z – in Theory and Practice
Who better to explain the concept of the social economy than social entrepreneurs themselves? Based on this premise, from the very first edition of this annual event, we are inviting organizations that have been operating in the social economy for years and can share their extensive experience to the 4th Social Economy Day. Who will be visiting us this year?
First: Paweł Radomski, President of the Heart House Foundation from Komorów – an organization that provides a wide range of services to dependent individuals, including care services both in their homes and within the 24-hour and day Social Welfare Home.
The second guest will be Jarosław Pilecki, President of the Multi-Industry Social Cooperative “Arte” from Bielawa in Lower Silesia – an organization that provides a range of services, including construction and cleaning, and which – as its founders say – “is a close-knit team of several dozen people with a history of trauma.” The activities of the “Arte” cooperative were recognized last year, in 2021, by the Jury of the Jacek Kuroń Competition for the Best Social Enterprise in Poland, receiving first prize.
