A seminar for cities on the second call for proposals under the European Urban Initiative (EUI) will be held in Warsaw on June 28, 2023. During the seminar, you will have the opportunity to discuss your ideas directly with the Initiative’s Secretariat and learn more about the Initiative’s full offering. The seminar in Warsaw is a unique event on a national, and even regional, scale. The other two events related to the second competition will be held in Europe only in Brussels and Ljubljana.
During the seminar, staff from the European Urban Initiative Secretariat will present the competition’s objectives, hold thematic sessions, and provide opportunities for direct consultations on ideas. The planned second competition under the EUI Innovative Actions axis will address three thematic areas:
– urban greening,
– sustainable tourism,
– utilizing talent in shrinking cities.
The competitions under the EUI Innovative Actions axis are dedicated to cities with over 50,000 inhabitants, but applications can also be submitted by organizations from several municipalities. The remaining EUI axes (including the capacity building axis) also offer support to smaller cities.
The seminar will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.
A detailed agenda for the seminar is attached.
