The Cooperation Fund Foundation is looking for a candidate for the position of: EXPERT IN LEGAL REGULATIONS
reference number BZP/IZS/1/2018 (place of work: Warsaw, fixed-term employment contract, full-time)
The person employed in this position will be a member of the team implementing the project "A New Model of Cooperation between Social Employment Institutions," implemented under Priority Axis II: Effective Public Policies for the Labor Market, Economy, and Education, Measure 2.5: Effective Social Assistance, implemented under the Knowledge Education Development Operational Programme 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Social Fund. Project funding agreement: POWR.02.05.00-00-0210/18-00.
The aim of the project is to develop social services of general interest, especially environmental services provided by entities in the social economy sector, combining professional activation with building a coherent system of social services by developing an innovative concept of a model of cooperation between social employment entities and other institutions and entities providing social services (KMW).
We expect candidates to:
• higher legal education – legal counsel qualifications for at least 3 years
• great organizational skills
• interpersonal and communication skills
• good computer skills
• independence and initiative
• ability to work under time pressure
• availability
• knowledge of issues related to social economy,
• knowledge of the specific nature of local government units
• experience in cooperation with PES,
The scope of duties will include, among others:
– analysis of the legal provisions of EU countries and preparation of a partial report on the analysis carried out,
– assessment of the effects of legal regulations on service standards,
– participation in public consultations with representatives of the social economy sector and experts and practitioners organizing, creating and managing social economy sector entities,
– participation in the development of service standards,
– participation in the development of substantive materials for training,
– participation in research,
– monitoring the implementation of the 3-part model during the pilot,
– analysis of test results, pilot studies on social employment entities,
– participation in the development of the final version of the 3-part KMW model – recommendations for legal changes,
– participation in educational and training activities
– basic activities related to the work of a lawyer
