We invite you to participate in the event entitled: “The Role and Participation of Rural NGOs in the Lawmaking Process – Expert Forum.”
The meeting is held as part of the “Rural Organizations in the Lawmaking Process” project, the aim of which is to enhance the expert competencies of NGO representatives from rural areas and small towns to the extent necessary for proper participation in the lawmaking process. The project is implemented by the Rural Activation Forum (RAF) in partnership with the Cooperation Fund Foundation (FFF).
At the forum, we aim to discuss and develop the main elements of a training program, which will train 400 members, staff, and volunteers of rural NGOs from across Poland.
The Expert Forum is the project’s opening activity and consists of:
1. Discussion among experts/practitioners/rural NGO representatives on the barriers and good practices in the participation of rural NGOs in the lawmaking process in Poland.
2. Consultation with the rural NGO community identified in the diagnosis of intervention areas. 3. Preparing preliminary training scenarios.
4. Developing a group of trainers who will collaborate on the training.
The forum will consist of 40 participants representing NGOs from rural areas and small towns – experts, representatives of organizations, decision-makers, and the media.
Participation in the forum as a participant is free of charge. The organizer will provide accommodation and meals.
Please complete the form by January 12, 2018.
The expert forum is scheduled for February 5-6, 2018, in Warsaw.
