The “Share Innovation – How to Solve Social Problems in a New Way” competition, organized by the Cooperation Fund Foundation in cooperation with Ashoka Poland, launched on October 20th.
This is the first edition of the competition, which collects the most interesting examples of social innovation and rewards those who write engagingly about them. How do we understand social innovation?
These are new and unconventional ideas for solving specific social problems that bring about positive change and improve the quality of life of the people they target. These ideas should be long-term, take into account financing issues, and be focused on measurable results.
How to enter the competition?
If you know of social innovations in your community or have heard of an innovative idea being implemented on the other side of Poland, please share them. If you’ve come across foreign innovations that would work here, please share them.
We’re looking for descriptions of social innovations that, by addressing specific social needs and problems, are changing the world for the better. Write a short text about the innovation that inspired you (up to two A4 pages) and enter the competition.
The competition launched on October 20, 2017. Applications are open until November 20.
– Visit www.miejscnnowacji.pl and download the application form
– Describe your innovation according to the instructions on the form
– Send your application by email to konkurs@miejscnnowacji.pl
Why is it worth it?
Although social innovations are becoming more and more popular, many people still don’t know what they are. We want to change this by providing examples of innovations that demonstrate new ways to solve social problems that traditional methods have failed to address. We will publish the most compelling innovation descriptions submitted to the competition on www.miejscnnowacji.pl to inspire others.
Prizes await the authors of the best entries.
The competition is open to anyone 18 years of age or older.
